Author Guidelines

We publish articles (2 volumes in a year): May and November

  1. SIBERTEK accepts manuscripts containing research findings in the fields of Information Technology and Computer Science. Manuscripts must be written in either Indonesian or English.

  2. Manuscripts must be submitted through the SIBERTEK web system. Submissions via email will not be accepted. Authors without an account must register first.

  3. The manuscript file must be in .doc or .docx format.

  4. The recommended manuscript length should not exceed 10 pages.

  5. Manuscripts must adhere to the writing guidelines provided in the official SIBERTEK template. The template can be downloaded via this link.

  6. The recommended manuscript structure includes: Introduction – Research Method – Results and Analysis – Conclusion. Commonly known material should be cited. If there are new proofs or theories developed, they may be presented after the Introduction section.

  7. References used in the manuscript should come from more than 20 sources, prioritizing reputable journals published within the last 5 years. At least 80% of the references should be derived from scientific journals.

  8. Authors are required to attach a publication ethics statement and a copyright agreement when submitting the manuscript. Detailed information on publication ethics can be accessed via this link.   9. The review process at SIBERTEK is conducted using a double-blind review system through the online platform. Authors can monitor the progress of their manuscript via the system.

  10. The duration from submission to acceptance depends on the time required for the review process. The editorial team cannot provide an exact publication timeline for newly submitted manuscripts.

  11. Final proofreading and editing are conducted by the editorial team, which may involve the authors. 

  12. Authors are fully responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions related to citations, software usage, or any violations of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) that may arise from the submitted manuscript, including any legal consequences involved.

Manuscript Submission Checklist

  1. The manuscript has not been previously published and is not currently under consideration by another journal.
  2. If the manuscript is an extension of a previously published conference paper, it must contain 1/3 new content, copyright permission has been obtained, and the new contribution must be outlined in the cover letter to the Editor.
  3. Authors are required to submit 2 manuscript files: a complete and an anonymous version. An anonymous version of a manuscript is a manuscript from which the author's name and affiliation have been removed
  4.  A double blinded review process will be conducted on the anonymous manuscript
  5. This submission complies with international ethical standards for publication.
  6. The manuscript follows the SIBERTEK guidelines.
  7. The manuscript should comply with the template provided by SIBERTEK and adhere to the Author Guidelines.
  8. The submission file should be in *.docx format.
  9. When submitting the manuscript, authors must also submit a publication ethics statement and a copyright agreement.
